Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026 · Last updated: August 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how btror ("we," "us," or "our"), an independent game developer, handles information in connection with our mobile games (the "Apps"), including Minesweeper: Strait of Hormuz (com.ticer.minesweeperhormuz), distributed on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

The short version: our games have no accounts, no sign-ups, and no servers run by us. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information ourselves. The Apps use a small number of platform services — Google AdMob for advertising, the app stores for purchases, and Google Play Games Services / Apple Game Center & iCloud for optional cloud saves — and those services process limited data on their own systems, as described below. Your game progress lives on your device and, if you enable it, in your own Google or Apple account.

1. Information we collect directly

None. We do not operate servers, we do not require or offer account creation, we do not run our own analytics, and no personal information is transmitted to us when you play. The only time we receive personal information from you is if you choose to email us, in which case we use your email address solely to respond.

2. Third-party services used by the Apps

The Apps integrate the following platform services. Each processes certain data under its own privacy policy, acting as an independent data controller. We have configured these services to collect the minimum required for their function.

2.1 Advertising — Google AdMob

The Apps show advertisements (opt-in rewarded videos and paced full-screen interstitials) served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may process:

Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required (including the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), a consent message is shown before any advertising identifier is used, and you can decline personalized ads and still play the full game. You can revisit your choice at any time via the in-app Privacy Options screen (where shown) and through your device settings (see Section 6).

2.2 Purchases — Google Play Billing & Apple In-App Purchase

Optional purchases (for example, cosmetic items or "remove ads") are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your name, billing address, or payment details. The Apps receive only anonymous purchase state — which product was bought and whether the purchase is valid — so we can unlock what you paid for and restore it on reinstall. Refunds and payment disputes are handled by Google or Apple under their terms.

2.3 Cloud saves & game services — Google Play Games / Apple Game Center & iCloud

To let your progress follow you between devices, the Apps can use the platform's own game services:

We cannot access, read, or retrieve your cloud saves — they exist only in your platform account. You can manage or delete them through your Google or Apple account settings.

3. Data stored on your device

Your save file (progress, statistics, inventory, and settings) and small configuration files are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device except through the optional cloud save feature above. Uninstalling the App deletes its local data (subject to any device backups you control through your operating system).

4. What we do not do

5. Play Store data-safety summary

For transparency, this table mirrors what the third-party SDKs in the Apps may collect, as disclosed in the store listings:

6. Your choices & controls

7. Children's privacy

The Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad serving is configured as not child-directed. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our Apps, contact us at the address below and we will help address it.

8. Your privacy rights

8.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom & Switzerland

Where GDPR or equivalent law applies, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing) and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, requests concerning advertising data are best directed through the consent controls above and Google's My Ad Center; we will nonetheless assist with any request you send us.

8.2 United States state privacy laws

We do not sell personal information. Third-party ad personalization may qualify as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state laws (such as the California CPRA); you can opt out via the in-app Privacy Options screen and the device controls in Section 6. California residents also have rights to know, delete, and correct, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising them.

8.3 Everyone else

Whatever your jurisdiction, email us and we will do our best to honor reasonable privacy requests concerning anything within our control.

9. Data retention & security

We retain nothing, because nothing is sent to us. Third-party services retain data according to their own published policies. Local data persists until you uninstall; cloud saves persist in your platform account until you delete them. Data exchanged with platform services is transmitted over encrypted connections by the platform SDKs.

10. International transfers

Google and Apple may process the data described above on servers in various countries under the safeguards described in their respective privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

If the Apps' data practices change — for example, if a future update adds a new service — we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect. Material changes will be highlighted in the relevant App's store listing or release notes.
